Day Camp Wanpaku

　Day Camp Wanpaku is a one-day program aimed for small children and elementary school students. During spring, summer and winter holidays, we board the bus and head to the mountains, villages, riverside, lake Biwa or fields to play with all our heart, aiming to grow into strong and sturdy children. Summertime activities include fishing and playing in the river; in the spring we climb mountains and build secret bases; during winter we play in the snow - fully experiencing the changing nature through each of the four seasons.

  Pre-schoolers and elementary school students.

Participation Fee

  Preschooler　￥2,500　　Elementary school student　￥2,000
  Registration fee:　Insurance cost for a year is ￥1,000 (free for children who are registered to Konpeito Club)

Main Destinations

  During summer break: Rivers, lake Biwa etc
  Spring & Winter break: Hiking in the mountains and villages, the details depend on the day.
  The destinations are decided based on the weather and the amount of children participating. On rainy days we visit institutions with a roof.

Volunteer Participation

  We are receive volunteers from varied sources, for example: Shiga University Environmental Studies students, International volunteers, etc.
